Any of you ever played Minecraft while it was in beta? There would be graphical bugs, like a plot of land that wouldn’t render, and glitches with the water going all over the place. This platform faced similar issues. Too many directions with The Enjoying Life Podcast and coaching, but now it’s been bugfixed and refined with growing 1% through writing. You’ll get it through many lenses from book reviews, this newsletter, and sprout notes! Why the move towards only writing?
Speaking into a mic and coaching others was fun, but it felt more like work and a sudden change. Upwards of 5 years ago, I started a WordPress blog where writing flowed seamlessly like no other. Did I produce a lot of crappy things? Hell yeah.
Was it something I still look back on and still cringe? Absolutely.
Do I still love it? 100%. What can you expect next?
We’re going to learn a lot more about writing and storytelling: how to tell effective stories & the elements to keep in mind. Imagine curating the storyline of your favorite TV show or anime; that’s the name of the game. There are other milestones, such as publishing a book, NYT bestseller, but at the heart of it all is: How do you create a great story?
