Whenever you put something out into the world, whether it's art, spoken words, or actions, you won't be able to please everyone. When a group experiences something together, each viewer's response is influenced by their own past experiences. A few years ago, the CEO of OpenAI's ChatGPT made the following statement during an interview: “We have no current plans to make revenue. We have no idea how we may one day generate revenue…Basically, we will ask [the generally intelligent system] to generate an investment return for you,” The crowd responded with laughter because it sounded outrageous. However, years later, OpenAI is projected to have a revenue of $200 million in 2023 and $1 billion by 2024. You may not know how your plan will turn out. You may face laughter, mockery, or being called a fool. However, it's better to try and fail than to not try at all.
