Free. The one word to summarize April. The Craziness of Moving, getting used to living alone, and curating an abundant place similar to a backpack were the key themes throughout. It was a rush. At the end of it all, there is nothing else but feeling free to pursue the next endeavor. Writing today’s book review was a testament to that. I went back and forth with ChatGPT to curate something, but something didn’t feel right. Providing all the answers to the questions and getting spit back a blog post felt fake and inauthentic to the natural human voice. AI is growing exponentially, and there’s no telling what it may do in the future, but it felt limiting. As if the original writing was overwritten with someone else’s voice. What did I do? Trash it & start again. Anger splurged out through my fingers to type the next one & in one draft swoop, it was written. The draft that felt right. A draft that felt free.
