Welcome traveler to The Explorer – January, the Month of New Horizons.

**Knock, knock, knock** — no answer.

You walk down the street and continue knocking at every door. Some let you in and have a quick chat, whereas others are left closed without a sound.

Door after door you continue walking.

“These doors look nothing like the ones I started with. They’re vibrant with different shades of color — maroon purple, aqua blue, and cinnabar red to name a few,” you think to yourself.

Zooming out a bit - you take a look around. This new neighborhood is one you never knew existed. It’s the same city you’ve lived at, but there’s still there’s something new to find every which way.

Let’s see what is new in this city.

Staying in one city all the time, there can be a routine you get into of going to the same spots everyday. Maybe it’s the local library or your work place that’s the common spot in your day-to-day.

What if there was a new route you took? What if you stopped at a different coffee shop instead? What if you walked down a street you always passed through on your commute?

Small changes make a small city feel ginormous or a big city to feel even bigger. There’s a lot to explore in 2024.
